The Avant futon is our top of the range futon sofa bed

Simple pull-forward action and a large storage space for bedding. The elegant frame design incorporates 'floating' design side panels and there are no visible screws in the sofa position.

	Front conversion from futon seat to futon bed.Incorporating our Advaans folding system, this gives a very quick simple action from sofa to bed and back. No manual lifting of the futon mattress is needed.
	High futon sleeping height. No sleeping low down, ideal for all ages.
	Detachable futon armrest option.These make the AVANT feel like a sofa
	Futon with storage. Room for your bedding (underseat storage space), Optional drawer available.
	Self-folding futon mattress. Supplied with our unique Duo futon which folds with the base for the simplest possible conversion from seat to bed and back again

The double futon sofa bed AVANT requires final assembly of the pre-assembled components.

Needed a man friday to help me construct the bed and we confused ourselves by getting one of the pieces upside down! Once it was all in place however all was well and works just as it should. It looks rustic and unusual and suits my living room pefectly. I was very impressed with how confortable it is both for sitting and lying. Very good choice for me.

The sofa bed looked to be just what I needed from the website and doesn't disappoint. In fact the standard mattress is thicker than I expected and very comfortable to sit on - the duck egg cover is good quality and a lovely colour. The sofa comes in two manageable boxes and fairly straightforward for one person to assemble, just five bolts - easy when lined up. It's a very neat design and the storage drawer is a good accessory. This is just for occasional use as a bed and I'm very happy with it.
